Health
Nursing Homes:
You can download data used to compare nursing homes, zipped in Microsoft
Access format. It includes the nursing home characteristics and health deficiencies
issued during the three most recent state inspections results and recent
complaint investigations. The survey results are collected by the state
survey agencies, who perform onsite evaluations.

Workplace
Mine Health and Safety Administration:
MSHA's Data Retrieval System permits interested parties to retrieve mine overviews, accident histories, violation histories, inspection histories, inspector dust samplings, and operator dust samplings and employment/production data.



Downloadable accident/injury data: "These 'self-extracting' files are the actual information (raw data) from the accident and injury MSHA Form 7000-2 filed with MSHA by mining operators and contractors as required under" federal regulations."

From this page, you can download Federal Railroad Administration safety
files, including the Highway-rail Crossing Inventory files (in .DBF format).
Accident/Incident reports can be downloaded in a variety of formats (.DBF,
.XLS, .MDB, .TXT) using a query interface. Additionally, the record layouts
for the FRA databases as well as copies of the reference tables (such as
Locations, Railroad Code file, Accident/Incident Codes) have been made available
on this page.

Agriculture:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) offers agricultural data, including USDA reports, such as the monthly Crop Production reports, and up-to-date information on surveys currently being conducted in the field as well as information on the upcoming 2007 Census of Agriculture.
