This panel will provide tips on finding and covering stories about people on the fringes of society — from victims of sex trafficking to vulnerable adults abused in state care or prisoners mistreated by guards. How do you get access to them? What about confidentiality? How do you tell someone’s story without putting him or her at risk? How do you interview a traumatized victim without making things worse?
